BusyRooms Connector

Learn how to connect and use the BusyRooms direct accommodation integration in TripBuilder.

Written by Jam Padilla

BusyRooms is a direct accommodation integration available in TripBuilder, listed as a Standard supported hotel integration. This integration connects you to the BusyRooms API, which offers technology designed to expand your distribution reach by connecting to over 500 global sales channels. For a complete list of supported suppliers, see Supplier and Service Integrations Available in TripBuilder.

Integration Scope

The BusyRooms connector provides access to bookable hotel content directly within TripBuilder. The implementation covers the following key transactional flows:

  • Search & Availability: Retrieve real-time pricing and availability during the itinerary planning phase.

  • Booking: Confirm reservations instantly through the BusyRooms API.

  • Cancellation: Cancel bookings directly from TripBuilder in accordance with the supplier's policies.

  • Voucher Support: Generate and issue booking vouchers once a reservation is confirmed.

Commercial and Setup Notes

To use the BusyRooms integration, you must have an active commercial agreement and credentials directly with BusyRooms. Because BusyRooms is a Standard integration, configuring your own credentials consumes one of your available slots for connected supply. To enable and configure this connector for your TripBuilder instance, please contact Nezasa Support. For general information on what is required to connect transactional suppliers, see What information is needed to configure a Supplier on TripBuilder?.

Supported Use Cases and Limitations

When using the BusyRooms connector, keep the following considerations in mind:

  • Cancellation Policies: Cancellation terms are retrieved live from BusyRooms. When applying the cancellation policy filter in TripBuilder, accommodations where all room options are non-refundable will be excluded from the Accommodation Overview screen. For more details on how these filters work, see Accommodation Search Filters.

  • Product Load and Content Mapping: TripBuilder uses GIATA identifiers to group and enrich hotel properties across supplier systems, preventing duplicate listings. To optimize search performance and accuracy, we recommend importing Non-Bookable Content (NBC) for your BusyRooms portfolio. See Sourcing Hotel Non-Bookable Content (NBC) Independently to learn how this improves search targeting.

  • Smart Planner Integration: Once enabled, BusyRooms hotel inventory is automatically available in the Smart Planner hotel drawer, fetching live availability and pricing without requiring separate configuration. See Smart Planner — Hotels.
