Transports Connect API | Standardize required passenger and contact data fields
We aligned the required passenger and contact data fields in Connect API Transports with the common schema already used across the rest of the Connect API surface. Previously, transports relied on a separate “passengerRequiredFields” object that was inconsistent with what activities, ground transports, and rental cars had been using for some time.
Suppliers integrating with Connect API Transports now work with the same “passengerRequiredData” and “contactRequiredData” structures as every other Connect API type, reducing integration complexity and ensuring predictable, consistent behavior across the full supplier portfolio.
