NEZASA TRAVEL PLATFORM v360

We are happy to announce our latest TripBuilder release. Please see these release notes for the most significant changes. Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, or ideas for features or improvements!

DISCOVERY

Agency Selection Dropdown in Discovery Header

Internal tour operators can now create itineraries on behalf of different agencies directly within the Discovery flow using a new agency selection dropdown in the header. This dropdown allows users to choose any agency by name, with their own agency selected by default. The chosen agency automatically sets the appropriate agencyRefId during itinerary creation via the Itinerary API. The feature is controlled by a new feature flag.

Prevent Automatic Flight Searches When Editing Dates in Multi-City and Roundtrip Flows

We’ve improved the Flights search experience to prevent unnecessary searches when users edit travel dates or other parameters in Multi-City or roundtrip modes. Previously, every change triggered a new search automatically, causing multiple redundant requests and a poor user experience. Now, all edits are buffered locally, and the system only executes a search once the user explicitly clicks the “Search” button. This enhancement ensures faster, more efficient flight selection with reduced system load and smoother trip planning.

Auto-insert return segment in multi-city flight search

We’ve enhanced the Multi-City flight search to automatically add a reverse leg when a new segment is created. For example, adding Düsseldorf → Zurich will now automatically insert a Zurich → Düsseldorf return leg directly below it, without a preset date. Users can freely edit or delete the auto-generated return as needed.

PLANNER

New Feature Flag to Restrict Airport Transfers to Itineraries with Flights

We have introduced a new Cockpit feature flag, “Allow Transfers with Flights Only,” giving customers the option to restrict airport transfer bookings to itineraries that include flight segments. When enabled, the “Add Transfer” button will only appear once a flight has been added, preventing premature transfer creation with incorrect default times. This enhancement improves data accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with existing flight-dependent workflows.

Conversion of On-Request Components to Ad-Hoc Components

Travel agents can now convert on-request hotel components into editable ad-hoc components directly within Planner. This enhancement allows users to update pricing, availability, and other details for on-request hotels without leaving the system, streamlining the workflow and eliminating the need for external management. The new functionality builds on the existing on-request component handling, enabling greater flexibility and control over trip customization prior to booking.

COCKPIT

Global Recommended Hotels - File format enhancement

We've enhanced the CSV import functionality to automatically detect and process files with different delimiter formats (comma, semicolon, pipe, tab). The system now seamlessly handles regional Excel variations, eliminating import failures previously experienced by beta customers in European markets. This improvement removes the need for manual file reconfiguration and ensures a smoother onboarding experience regardless of your regional settings.

Commission Rule Revision Selection Fix

We have fixed an issue where commission rules were not correctly applying based on distribution channel restrictions. The system was previously filtering rules by distribution channel before selecting the latest revision, which allowed older rule revisions with broader distribution channel applicability to override newer, more specific rules. This could result in incorrect commission rates being applied to bookings.

The fix ensures the latest published revision of each commission rule is evaluated first, then filtered by the distribution channel. Commission calculations are potentially impacted after this release as any rates that were previously calculated incorrectly would now reflect the intended rule configuration.

New Accommodation Content Rules: Refined Cancellation Filters (Beta)

We've improved the cancellation filter in Content Rules with clearer, more intuitive options. The previous "Partially Refundable" option has been replaced with two precise categories: "Fees Apply" (offers with cancellation charges from 1% to 99% ) and "Free Cancellation" (offers with no initial cancellation charges). Combined with the existing "Non-Refundable" and "No Cancellation Information" options, this update gives you more granular control over accommodation availability. Existing rules have been automatically migrated to ensure uninterrupted service.

INTEGRATIONS

Intelligent Request Batching for Hotel Searches

We've implemented smart batching for accommodation searches, allowing us to split large requests into optimised batch sizes per supplier. This significantly improves response times and system throughput, especially for suppliers with strict request limits.

What's new:

  • Configurable batch sizes with a default limit of 500 hotel codes per batch; supplier-specific values can be set when needed (e.g., TBO: 50, iVectorOne: 100)

  • True streaming processing—results flow in immediately without waiting for other batches to complete

  • Seamless backward compatibility with existing integrations

  • Reduced timeouts and faster searches for large property lists

  • Impacting direct integrations (Connect APIs & TravelGateX)

Expected benefits:

  • For streaming users: Noticeably faster results as properties arrive in real-time rather than waiting for complete batches

  • Eliminated supplier-side timeouts caused by oversized requests
