How to set a template to open in smart planner ?
To ensure a template opens in the Smart Planner instead of the legacy planner, follow these steps:
Open the template in the Package Builder.
Navigate to the Miscellaneous tab.
Set the Smart Planner Template Compatibility to "Default." Note that setting it to "Enabled" only marks it as compatible but does not make it the default for opening in the Smart Planner.
Publish the template. Changes will only take effect after publishing; drafts will not reflect the updated settings.
Compatibility of Templates with Both Planners
Templates in Nezasa are inherently compatible with both the Smart Planner and the legacy planner. The behavior of whether a template opens in the Smart Planner or the legacy planner is determined by the Smart Planner Template Compatibility setting. Setting it to "Default" ensures the template opens in the Smart Planner. No additional conversion is required for legacy itineraries to work with the Smart Planner.
Switching Between Planners for Existing Itineraries
To switch an existing itinerary between the classic planner and the Smart Planner:
Log in to your Nezasa account.
Open the itinerary you wish to modify.
Use the planner tools (e.g., TO Tools or TA Tools) to toggle between the classic planner and the Smart Planner.
Summary
Use the Smart Planner Template Compatibility setting to control whether templates open in the Smart Planner or legacy planner.
Templates are compatible with both planners without requiring conversion.
Existing itineraries can be switched between planners using the appropriate tools.
By following these guidelines, you can effectively manage templates and itineraries across Nezasa’s planning tools.
