NEZASA TRAVEL PLATFORM v358

We are happy to announce our latest TripBuilder release. Please see these release notes for the most significant changes. Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, or ideas for features or improvements!

GENERAL

Updated Product Management Role

We have updated the Product Management role for TripBuilder so that users are granted full access to not just products in inventory, but also reports, modules, and templates in Package Builder, without visibility of Customer Care. This improvement enables supply and product management teams to manage content efficiently while ensuring stricter data protection and role-based access control.

PLANNER

Fixed Airport Change Loop in Pre-Programs and Extensions

We have resolved an issue where changing the arrival or departure airport in package itineraries caused the other airport to revert to its original value. This looping behavior occurred across all products with individual pre-programs and extensions, preventing users from setting both airports correctly. With this fix, users can now modify arrival and departure airports independently, and all changes are accurately reflected in the itinerary and flight view.

Hotel Supplier Filtering Improvements

Enhanced hotel search functionality to ensure supplier filtering works accurately throughout the search process. When users select a specific supplier filter (like EPS, Expedia Direct, or TravelGateX) and click "Update for more results," the system now correctly limits results to only the chosen supplier's inventory.

How it works now: When you apply a supplier filter and click "Update for more results," the system performs a new targeted search specifically for that supplier. This search uses supplier-specific hotel codes, which typically return more comprehensive results from that particular supplier's inventory. You'll now see only hotels available through your selected supplier, giving you cleaner, more focused search results.

What this means for users: Hotel filtering now works as expected - select your preferred supplier, click "Update for more results," and get a fresh search showing only that supplier's available hotels. This makes it easier to compare options within a specific supplier's inventory and ensures you're seeing the most complete selection from your chosen provider.

Template recommendations now display correctly in New Hotel Search

When using the New Hotel Search experience with the 3-tile recommended hotels view, the system now correctly prioritises template-defined default and recommended hotels when removing selected accommodations. Previously, suggested hotels didn't reflect template configurations in this scenario.

This fix ensures that itineraries created from templates display the appropriate recommended hotels as defined in the template, improving the user experience for template-based workflows.

Note: The New Hotel Search experience is currently in public beta.

COCKPIT

Rolling early bird special offers now available for modules and transit activities

We've extended our inventory special offer functionality to support modules and transit activities. Previously limited to accommodations, you can now configure rolling early bird special offers for these component types.

What's New:

  • Access special offer configuration from the pricing section of your module or transit activity.

  • Rolling early bird special offers can now be configured for modules and transit activities

  • With a feature flag enabled (DC Settings - Planner - General Planner Features) - special offer discounts are displayed in planner, checkout and customer care.

  • The special offer discounts will always be displayed in the Booking API

You can control the visibility of special offer discounts in planner, checkout and customer care via a feature flag in Smart Planner's general settings. Look for "Display special offers in price breakdown". When enabled, discounts will appear in the price breakdown for these interfaces. Special offers always appear in the Booking API regardless of this setting.

Current Scope: This release focuses on rolling early bird special offers. We're evaluating extensions to other special offer types based on customer feedback and use cases.
