How to add an airport transfer/shuttle?

Learn how to add an airport shuttle that fits your selected flights!

Steps

  • Once you have selected your desired flights, adjust the connection, between the airport and the first stop, to Shuttle Ride

  • Click on Airport Shuttles on the top of the Planner, or click on Continue, at the bottom of the Planner page

  • Search among the available shuttle transfers

  • View details of the shuttle

  • Select shuttle

Scheduled shuttle or transfer offers are placed in the itinerary according to the route connection and the offer's timing information, such as start time and duration. If the route dates, number of nights, or connection type change, re-check the transfer placement and availability in Planner.

Changing a Selected Transfer

When organising an itinerary, if a selected transfer offer isn't suitable, TripBuilder allows the replacement or removal of the selected transfer. In the event of a removal, a transfer placeholder will then be shown in the Planner until a new transfer is selected.

Here's how to revert your transfer selection:

  1. Find the transfer component you wish to change in Planner and click the "Edit" button.

  2. You will be redirected to the "Adjust your transfer" page, displaying the currently selected transfer at the top.

  3. If you wish to remove the selected transfer, click on "Remove Transfer".

  4. You will then be taken back to Planner, where a transfer placeholder will now be visible.

Travel Documentation

Transfer placeholders and components are represented as part of the travel documentation according to the calculated itinerary order. If a transfer appears out of sequence after route changes, edit or update the route or connection in Planner so TripBuilder recalculates the dates before generating the documentation.

When one (or more) transfer placeholder is defined in the itinerary, and no transfer was selected (or booked), an explicit message: “No {transport type} has been selected.” is present in the documentation.​
