.DISCOVERY
Planner Copilot
Faster: Planner Copilot has been optimized to respond faster thanks to a code redesign (before: multi-agent approach, after: single-agent approach with progressive context loading). This reduces the delay before the AI starts streaming its response by 200-500ms. The system also sends fewer unnecessary instructions to the AI model when certain features (e.g., hotel suggestions, activity suggestions) are not enabled which again lowers time to respond further.
Contextual Questions: Planner Copilot supports contextual questions that are not directly related to suggesting an itinerary. E.g., “what is the local currency in Thailand?”.
Latest LLM family: The underlying AI models have been upgraded to the GPT-5.4 family for improved quality and reliability, also see https://openai.com/index/introducing-gpt-5-4/.
Faster video analysis: Thanks to optimized usage of video codecs, video processing is now considerably faster.
More accurate website analysis: Improved the copilot’s website-URL-to-itinerary feature to produce itineraries that more closely match the source tour page. The AI now receives the full webpage content as markdown interpretation and is instructed to preserve the exact routing order, destinations, night distribution, and trip structure from the source instead of just getting inspired by it.
.SMART PLANNER
Cancellation policies
Smart Planner now displays cancellation policies on product cards (accommodations, rental cars, transfers, and activities). This feature is controlled by the distribution channel setting, allowing operators to enable or disable cancellation policy visibility per channel from the Cockpit.
IATA Code search
The Smart Planner flight search drawer now supports searching by IATA airport codes (e.g. typing "ZRH" finds Zurich Airport). IATA codes are also displayed alongside airport names in search results and in the selected input field, making it faster for travel professionals to find the right airports.
Show intermediate flights and stop durations for non-direct flights
The Smart Planner flight search now shows full details for connecting flights, including each individual flight segment, intermediate stopover airports, and layover durations. Previously, only the overall departure and arrival were displayed for non-direct flights.
.APIs
Optional date and time parameter for Planner API transfer offers
We extended the Planner API transfer offers endpoint to accept two new optional dateTime query parameters. The new fields minDepartureDateTime and maxArrivalDateTime allow customers to select the departure time and arrival time of the transfer. Previously, the endpoint always returned transfer offers based on a fixed backend default time, giving callers no control over when those offers applied. More information can be found in the Planner API documentation.
When each parameter is provided, the endpoint returns offers for the selected times, letting operators and integrators retrieve transfer options that match their customers' actual travel schedule rather than a generic default. If no information is provided, for either of the fields, the backend default times are considered for the transfer offers search. The backend default times will be used for the transfer offers search if no specific times are supplied for either of the fields. This change only applies for Connect API integrations.
Planning stage itineraries in Booking API response
We’ve added a new optional query parameter filter[include-planning] to the Booking API list endpoint. When enabled, planning-stage itineraries are included in the response.
.INTEGRATIONS
Mozio - First Ground Transfer Supplier via ConnectAPI
Mozio gives travel agents and end customers access to a global network of taxis, private cars, and shuttles — fully embedded in TripBuilder itineraries. TripBuilder had no live ground transfer supplier for point-to-point. Mozio closes that gap while also providing airport transfers.
Important to know:
Requires the new Ground Transport UI
Airport transfers and point-to-point only (no ferry support via API)
For all details, read here.
Hotelbeds Connector out of beta
Hotelbeds Direct is now available for all customers.
New connections can already be requested to our team..
For customers connected via TGX, we need to organise a migration plan with your Hotelbeds account manager, in a nutshell:
Hotelbeds creates new API keys
Travelgate API keys stay active until the last booking from those accounts completes
.ANALYTICS
Bug Fixes
Fix Booking Volume formatting in Basic Analytics. Corrected the EUR Booking Volume display in the QuickSight Booking Report to show two decimal places, resolving an issue where values between 1M and 2M showed no granularity.
Improvements
Add "Booked At" filter to product analytics dashboards. Added a "Booked At" date filter to the Accommodations, Activities, and other product-type tabs on the Best Seller Products QuickSight dashboard, matching existing Template tab functionality.
Extend Planner Copilot analytics with content analysis fields. Added content_url_type, content_url_platform, and content_analysis_error_code columns to the analytics dashboard..
