.DISCOVERY

General Improvements to Planner Copilot

Several enhancements have been made to Planner Copilot to improve its functionality and user experience:

  • The chatbot more accurately adheres to instructions regarding destination restrictions.

  • Improved understanding of prompts related to the itinerary suggestions reduces the number of times the chatbot responds with "your request is not supported", resulting in better interactions.

  • Geographical matching for the "tour-operator hotels only" feature is now more precise.

General Language Display for Musement Activities

Building on previous enhancements (here), we have further improved the display of language options for Musement activities. Planner users can now view all supported languages listed directly under the activity name at the top of the Activity Details page. This ensures that users have immediate access to language information.

Additionally, language options will remain available within the ticket option category, providing clear visibility throughout the selection and booking process.

Enhancements to Optional Service Charge Handling for Cancellations

We have improved the management of optional service charges during itinerary cancellations to ensure accuracy and transparency:

  • Accurate Service Charge Reporting: When an itinerary with optional service charges is cancelled, these charges are now properly included in the cancellation order. This ensures that any fees due according to cancellation policies are accurately reflected.

  • Improved Calculation of Cancellation Costs: The process for calculating the total amount due upon cancellation now considers the cancellation policy's specific rules, adjusting the service charge amounts accordingly. This guarantees that customers are charged the correct amount based on the policy.

  • Midoco Integration: Service charge values are consistently submitted during cancellations, ensuring that all parties have accurate financial information.

Support for 100% Discount Promo Codes

Promo codes can now be used to cover 100% of a trip's price. Previously limited to a 99% discount, this enhancement allows for full coverage.

.TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Enhancement of P2P Inventory Vouchers

We have improved the inventory vouchers in a P2P Reseller setup to include more explicit supplier information. When the "display supplier address and contact" setting for accommodation vouchers is enabled, inventory vouchers for the Itinerary Owner will now clearly state that they are booked and payable through the respective Module Owner, aligning with the contracting partner's role.

These changes do not affect live supply vouchers or inventory vouchers in non-P2P scenarios, ensuring that the updates are specific to the P2P Reseller context.

.APIs

Extension to Itinerary API with New Endpoint for Auto-Authentication Links

We have introduced a new feature to enhance integration with TripBuilder clients, such as travel agency booking software. The new /magiclink endpoint in the Itinerary API allows clients to convert a target URL into a redirect URL with an authentication token, known as a magic link. This magic link allows a travel agency to automatically login and load TripBuilder within the agency’s context, streamlining access and improving user experience.

.INTEGRATIONS

Support to Service Category Identification in Midoco

We have addressed an issue in Midoco where activities were previously submitted without clear category differentiation, making their identification such as age groups, difficult. Previously, adult and child categories were assigned without distinction, leading to confusion and incorrect documentation. Now, each activity is listed with information indicating which travellers are booked for each category, clarifying how bookings are distributed among age groups.
