Overview
Buffer times represent the additional time added to a particular event or activity to keep the itinerary on schedule. In case of unforeseen delays, they act as "time cushions" to ensure on-time arrival to the next destination. All buffer times are given in minutes.
Edit Buffer Times
The existing buffer types (before and after an event or activity) are pre-defined within TripBuilder. However, the user can change the values assigned to them to have a more conservative approach (or not) towards potential delays and their impact on the itinerary components.
To edit the default buffer times:
Go to Settings.
Click on Buffer Times on the left side menu under Supply.
Click on the Edit pen on the right-hand side.
A pop-up window opens with the option to edit the different buffer times.
Adjust the times as required and click OK to save your changes.
