Overview
TripBuilder enables some edition of components after booking. This post-booking edition is restricted to specific fields, to maintain coherence on the component that was booked.
Data fields that don't impact this coherence can be directly edited, simplifying the post-booking overrides process for minor changes or updates and reducing the need to go through the booking change process.

Visibility: Updates, once saved, will show on:
Customer Care (component)
Travel Docs
Booking API (where the component data is already available)
Audit trail:
After editing an activity or an accommodation in the Services & Price List, an itinerary history entry is added with the trigger Post Booking.
Any change to a transfer, activity, base service or rental car component is stored in the itinerary history.
As described in column "Audit trail", simple records for the changed components are recorded into the Itinerary History for accountability and traceability. Access and visibility of this section depend on the attributed user roles.
Note: Changes will only apply to the specific itinerary they were conducted on and won't update the overall inventory product or propagate to other itineraries.
Net price editing
Customer care users - for example, the module owner in a Peer to Peer (P2P) setup - can edit the net price - i.e., the price the external supplier charges - for an inventory product.
Note: Regarding terminology, the following terms may be used interchangeably within TripBuilder:
"module owner" and "seller"
"template owner" and "reseller"
"Peer to Peer setup" and "Reselling setup"
To go forward with the edition, follow these steps:
Go to Customer Care
Select a previously booked itinerary from the Itineraries list
Click on the Services & Price List menu option under Itinerary
Locate the inventory component to edit and click on the "pencil icon" at the right of the screen
Note: Net price editing is only available for inventory products: activities, accommodation, base services, transfers and rental cars.
The Edit Component modal displays (i.e. Edit Accommodation Component in this example)
Change the Net Price from 100 to 105 (for example) and click on the Save button.
The new sales price is presented in the updated component in the Services & Price List.
Consider the initial scenario:
Seller's perspective (for the selected component only):
net price = 100€
markup is 10%
sales price = 110€
Reseller's perspective:
net price = 110€
markup is 20%
sales price = 132€
Changing the accommodation net price from 100€ to 105€ will:
Have an impact on the seller's perspective (for the selected component only):
net price = 105€
markup is 5%
sales price = 110€
Be completely transparent from the reseller's perspective:
net price = 110€
markup is 20%
sales price = 132€
Note:
Users are restricted from editing the total net price of components that include at least one amenity with a non-zero net price. This prevents pricing errors and maintains the integrity of component pricing.
The net price - i.e., the price the external supplier charges - can only be changed if it is the very first price set in TripBuilder.
The net price change, when applied:
Will not affect the sales price of a component
Will not affect the total sales price of the itinerary
Will impact the markup calculation of the component, i.e. calculation between the net and the sales price (also known as the “supplier markup calculation”).

Additional information on markup calculation can be found in the Markups vs. Margins article.
