Overview

The following tables give an overview of all component states within TripBuilder during the planning, booking and cancellation process.

Planning

Open

The component isn't booked in the external system.

Available

The component has been checked for availability but hasn't been booked yet in the external system.

Booking

On Request

We have tried to book the component, and the external system replied that this is only bookable on request.

Booked

The component is booked in the external system.

Option

This means that the booking of the component isn't yet final.

  • It can become final by explicitly exercising the option, or it could automatically become final after a set period of time.

  • It can also be cancelled without cancellation cost.

Note:

Only used for customers with CRS integration.

Cancellation

Cancelled

The component is cancelled in the external system.

Note:

Flights won't be cancelled automatically and always need to be cancelled manually in the external system.

Planning

Open

The component isn't yet booked but has been checked for allotments.

Booking

On Request (RQ)

There has been no match for allotments; therefore, it needs to be checked for before being set manually to booked.

Booked (OK)

The component is booked based on the information defined on the inventory product, such as allotments.

Cancellation

Cancelled

The component is cancelled within TripBuilder. Since it's based on the information of the inventory product, it still needs to be cancelled in the external system.

None

No status has been or needs to be defined for the component.

Usually used for generic ad-hoc components, which serve as an additional service, charge or discount.
