Itinerary Option - Delete Itinerary

Introduction

As itineraries are created in TripBuilder, they become available to agents in the Agent Center. Access to historical itineraries is crucial for traveller support. However, itineraries that have not reached a booked state and are unlikely to be resumed can clutter daily operations. To address this, TripBuilder allows agents to delete itineraries, helping to streamline itinerary management and organisation.

Steps to Delete an Itinerary

Follow these steps to delete an itinerary in TripBuilder:

  1. Navigate to Customer Itineraries - Agent Center.

  2. Search for the itinerary you wish to delete.

  3. Click on the three dots button at the top right of the itinerary card.

  4. Select Delete Itinerary

  5. A popup will appear to confirm the deletion.

Once deleted, the itinerary will no longer appear in the customer itinerary overview within the Agent Center.

Note:

  • Only itineraries with the status "In Planning" or "Checkout Started" can be deleted.

  • Deleting an itinerary does not affect bookings, as no bookings are confirmed at these stages.

  • Deleted itineraries can still be accessed in Customer Care under discarded itineraries.
