Search and insert Multi-day Activities in Planner?
Multi-day activities are created as inventory transit activities in the cockpit. They need to be created in the cockpit first, to be able to select them in the planner.
Start planning an itinerary from scratch or planning from a template.
Click on Edit Route.
Change the means of transportation between two stops to type Activity. An activity placeholder will be added to the route.
Click on Update to return to the planner.
Back on the planner, click on the Adjust button to get to the activity search page. A list of available activities will be displayed.
Select the activity and room activity (if needed) and click on Save.
Note:
The duration of multi-day activities (MDAs) is measured using calendar days and not 24-hour periods.
Only activities that match the number of days of the placeholder (7 days) will be displayed at this point. Please see Upcoming Functionalities for more details.
The activity will be added to the itinerary.
You can replace any of the activities on the itinerary as desired by clicking on Replace and selecting a new activity from the overview.
Delete Multi-day Activities from the Itinerary
Click on the Replace button of the activity in the planner.
Click on the Remove button above the currently selected activity.
Upcoming Functionalities
Allow for Multi-Day Activities of different sizes (duration): the list of available activities will include the ones whose duration is different from the placeholder.
