Overview
Before pictures can be used across different areas, products, and templates, they must be uploaded to the Picture Library.
Article Available in Video
The information in this article is available in video and with additional details below.
Navigating to the Picture Library
Go to the TripBuilder Dashboard
Click on Inventory
Double-click on the main folder, named after your TripBuilder instance
Note: Organising your pictures into folders, like in any file system, is advisable, though not mandatory. You can create a new folder using the New Folder button at the top right of the page.
How to Upload a Picture
Click on the three dots at the top-right corner of the page to access the action menu
Click Choose File and locate the picture you wish to upload from your local file system
Please note:Upload only one picture at a time.
The maximum file size is 10MB.
The recommended picture formats are PNG and JPG.
While GIF pictures can be uploaded, they will display with low quality and are not recommended. For GIF animations, only the first frame will be shown.
If the picture's resolution is too low, you will receive an error message. Ensure the pictures are of good, preferably excellent, quality.
Video files are not supported, regardless of their format.
Crop the picture to the desired aspect ratio for display on the Planner/Travel Documentation. The output ratio remains constant regardless of the crop size
Click the Crop button
Add the picture's metadata:
Caption: The title of the picture to be shown on the Planner/Travel Documentation
Keywords: Additional search terms for the picture
Area: The location the picture refers to
License Holder: Your company's name will be selected by default
Usage Permission: Select Only the License Holder
Although the option for All Nezasa Partners is available, it will be deprecated soon as picture usage is restricted to the customer's TripBuilder instance.
Click the Save button
Note: Once you select and use an image from the Picture Library in an area, template, module, or product, it becomes decoupled from the Picture Library. This implies:
Deleting an image from the Picture Library will not affect its current usage. The image will still be shown wherever it is already used/referenced.
Changing an image in the Picture Library does not automatically update the items where they are currently in use. You must manually replace the old image with the new version to reflect an image update.
Remember these points to ensure your content remains organised and up-to-date.
