Overview

Contact details (email and phone number) are present in both the Proposal Documentation (prior to the itinerary booking) and in Travel Documentation (after the itinerary is booked) and can be configured regarding which information to display.

How to define Contact Information?

By default, the Tour Operator's contact information is presented. However, if the booking is assigned to an agency, the agency's contact details are presented.

To define which contact information to present in both scenarios, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Click on Distribution Channels.

  3. Click on your TripBuilder ID for the Distribution Channel (under the TripBuilder Distribution Channels section).

  4. Click on the Documents tab.

  5. Scroll down on the tab until you reach the Chapter "Contact Information" content section, part of the Document "Travel Documentation" group.

  6. Define the contact configuration for Tour Operators and Travel Agencies.

  7. Click on the Save button at the top right of the screen.

Avoiding Duplicate Contact Information

To avoid duplicate information when the Tour Operator and Travel Agency have the same contact information, independently of the configuration defined in the previous section, only the Tour Operator Contact will be displayed when the ID for the TripBuilder Instance (TO level) and Travel Agency are equal. For the following example, where:

TripBuilder instance ID is "webinar"

Travel Agency ID is "webinar"

If both Tour Operator Contact and Travel Agency Contact are enabled, only the Tour Operator Contact will be displayed.
