Multi-Cockpit Access

Overview

A company admin user of a specific instance can invite users from other instances via email and give them access to their inventory and/or customer care. These shared access users will be listed and managed in the User Management and are always given to single users.

Important:

  • Customers can only use the feature with multiple Instances and Cockpits.

  • This feature needs to be enabled by a Nezasa admin user. Please contact our support team or your customer success manager to enable the feature flag and configure the allow-list.

How to enable shareable cockpit access?

  • Go to Cockpit

  • Click on Settings

  • Go to General Settings - Cockpit

  • Enable feature flag Shareable Cockpit

  • Once enabled, a new setting field, Allow-list, will be displayed

    • Ther all company IDs can be added, which will have the allowance to share cockpit access

  • Click Save

Under User Management on the left sidebar menu, a new setting will be displayed - Cockpit Shares

How to invite users from other instances?

On User Management, select the Cockpit Shares

  • Click the button Share

  • Select the instance in which the user you want to invite is affiliated

    • Only instances that were added to the Allow-list will be displayed

  • Enter the Email address of the user you want to invite

    • The user must have a login on the allowed company.

  • Define Permissions

    • If the user can access Inventory or/and Customer Care

    • If it is a read-only or a write access

  • Click Invite

The user will be invited to collaborate in your Cockpit via the entered email address. The email will contain a direct link to the shared cockpit. If a user has access to more than one cockpit, the cockpits will be listed in the header of the cockpit application.

How to edit permissions and remove users?

Go back to Cockpit Shares in Settings.

An edit pen is displayed next to the name of the user.

  • Click on the pen to open the permission settings.

  • Edit Permissions and click Save

To remove a user.

  • Click on the bin icon next to the user.

  • Click Remove

The user will be removed from the list and no longer has access to the shared cockpit.
