TripBuilder is a unifying tool that handles products from inventory and external live supply. Focusing on external live supply, this can be booked directly in TripBuilder (for example, when a direct API integration exists with the supplier) or externally at the supplier’s system and, in a second step, have the external booking data integrated into TripBuilder.
The terminology for the identifier used to reference a booking (including the ones that take place outside TripBuilder) depends on the product type:
PNR or file locator for flights
booking ID, booking reference or reservation code for other product types
TripBuilder supports three Booking Import integrations, namely:
PNR Booking Import (flights)
BookMyRide Booking Import (RVs/Campers)
GAdventures Booking Import (activities)
