Overview

The Ticketing until date is available in flight results to indicate the deadline associated with ticketing.

This information is available in TripBuilder for Tour Operators and Travel Agents when viewing flight search results on each flight card.

What is the rationale behind "Ticketing until"?

In a scenario where instant ticketing doesn't happen immediately at the time of booking (it is still just a reservation), the Ticketing until represents the time limit on which the fare needs to be ticketed or cancelled to guarantee the price and underlying conditions (including the cancellation policy) at the reservation time. This time limit is displayed with the date (month, day and year) and time (hours and minutes).

Note:

  • For low-cost fares and Marketplace, instant ticketing is always applied.

  • Other scenarios may differ, depending on the configurations established by SoftConEx or AERTiCKET.

After performing a booking, the information regarding the ticketing time limit is also displayed in the confirmation emails sent to the Tour Operator in two scenarios:

  • The booking confirmation email is sent to the tour operator after a successful booking.

  • Same as the booking confirmation, but sent when the (initial) payment is by bank transfer.

Display in Planner

In the Planner, the Ticketing until information is shown in the Transports step when presenting the flight results. Each flight result displays the ticketing information on the lower-right side of the flight card.
